Director of Finance & Tax

Location: Grand Rapids, MI (Onsite)
Compensation: $110,000 - $180,000 annually
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM (some flexibility)

A fast-growing company in the hospitality industry is looking for a Director of Finance & Tax to join their Grand Rapids-based team. This unique opportunity is ideal for someone who enjoys partnering with external auditors, collaborating with banks, and managing complex multi-entity tax structures—especially in the context of a growing partnership-focused organization.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead all partnership tax functions for a multi-entity structure (entities within entities), ensuring timely and accurate data is provided to external tax partners

• Act as the primary liaison with external auditors

• Build and maintain strong relationships with banking partners to support continued growth and acquisitions

• Ensure seamless tax-related communications and filings for the parent partnership entity and its subsidiaries

Qualifications:

• CPA highly preferred

• Bachelor’s degree highly preferred

• Minimum 5 years of tax experience, ideally in a multi-entity or partnership environment

• Strong relationship-building skills with external partners (banks, auditors)

• Experience with NetSuite a plus

• Ability to thrive in a growing, informal, and fast-paced team environment
